What happens when you remove a corset?

I just saw pictures in reveal magazine of some male designer by the name of Mr Pearl . Apparently he wears a corset 24 hours a day and as a result he has a TINY waist. The article in question had a diagram showing what happened to your internal organs when wearing such a tight corset (basically they all get squeezed up or down... eurgh!).
Now i simply MUST know what happens when he removes the corset? Does his waist stay tiny? Does he suddenly bulge out as all his insides "slide" back into place? What happens when you remove a corset?
Surprisingly, the only negative effect of ending (safe) corset training is the reduction of strength in the stomach and back muscles (muscle atrophy), which can be corrected with daily exercise. If he were to remove his corset for more than a week straight, his waist would begin to "go back in place", and become a slightly smaller version of his natural waist.
Men who corset train are usually cross dressers or transsexuals, and emphasize tight lacing on the lower ribs. If worn long enough, this can cause a permanent change to the ribs, resulting in a smaller, more feminine waist.
I'm not really sure, but I suspect that after some time of almost constant use, a corset wearer's body would adapt to the restrictions imposed upon it, and the changes would be at least semipermanent. When they stop wearing a corset it then probably takes some time again for the body to resume its normal configuration.
Think of what happens when you wear some clothing which has an elastic band in it. When you remove the clothing you still see an indentation where the elastic was, but it disappears in a short time. It you wear similar clothing a lot, your body kind of adjusts for the elastic always being in the same place. I suspect wearing a corset would be like taking this to an extreme.
